TinyTell ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains
how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the TinyTell mobile
application (the "App"), available on iOS and Android.
By using TinyTell, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you create an account and use TinyTell, you may provide:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication details (via
Google, Apple, or email sign-in through Clerk).
- Pregnancy Information: Due date or last menstrual period date, conception date,
and weekly pregnancy milestones.
- Health Data: Height, weight, symptom logs, kick counting sessions, contraction
timing data, and mood check-ins.
- Personal Content: Journal entries ("Letter to My Baby"), baby name preferences,
and shopping list items.
- Ultrasound Images: Images uploaded for the Nub Analysis feature (processed
statelessly — see below).
Automatically Collected Information
We may automatically collect limited device information to ensure the App functions correctly:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version and crash reports
- General usage analytics (e.g., which features are accessed)
We do not collect GPS location, contact lists, browsing history, or any data
unrelated to your pregnancy journey.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the TinyTell App and its features
- Calculate and display your pregnancy progress and milestones
- Enable premium features such as Nub Analysis, Contraction Timer, and Doctor Summaries
- Process subscription payments and manage your account
- Send push notifications (appointment reminders, daily tips) — only with your permission
- Respond to your support requests
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioural profiling, or sell it to third
parties. Ever.
Ultrasound Image Processing
TinyTell's Nub Analysis feature uses a stateless, analyse-and-wipe approach:
- Your ultrasound image is sent securely to our AI model for analysis
- The prediction result is generated and returned to you
- The image is immediately deleted — it is never stored on our servers
- No ultrasound image data is retained, logged, or accessible after analysis
Third-Party Services
TinyTell uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Data Retention & Deletion
Your personal data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of
your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@tinytell.app.
Upon account deletion:
- All pregnancy data, journal entries, symptom logs, and session history are permanently deleted
- Your authentication credentials are removed from Clerk
- Subscription data is handled by RevenueCat in accordance with their retention policy
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
- JWT-based authentication on every request
- Rate limiting on all data-modifying operations
- Server-side input validation and sanitisation
- No API keys or secrets exposed in client-side code

Children's Privacy
TinyTell is designed for adults (expectant parents). We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us
immediately and we will delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format
